bet365 Sportsbook Review

Bet365 is an online sportsbook based out of the United Kingdom.  It was founded back in 2000, and immediately made waves the European sports betting market, becoming one of the most popular online sportsbooks across the continent.

Bet365 has since looked to place its toes into the American sports betting industry, launching their first United States-based online sportsbook in 2019 in the state of New Jersey.

While Bet365 is very well-established across Europe and throughout the global market, it’s a new player in the American betting market.

What’s it like to play at Bet365?  Is everything really has incredible as the hype has made it all to be?

For those answers and everything else you need to know about Bet365, read on as we break everything down and tell you all there is to know about Bet365 sportsbook.

Bet365 Sportsbook Welcome Bonus & Promo Codes

As is typically the case with any online sportsbook, Bet365 offers new users a bonus upon registering to play at their sportsbook.

Bet365 offers its new users up to $100 in bet credits, just for signing up.

Essentially how this works is, if you were to initially deposit $100 at Bet365 you would then in exchange get $100 in bet credits after your bets have settled.

For example, if you placed $25 on a two-team parlay and it lost, you would then get $25 in a bet credit the moment your parlay wager was settled.  If you won the parlay, you would obviously receive your winnings back and be able to withdraw them, but you would also get the $25 in matching bet credit.  The only caveat with that is the credit cannot be withdrawn, you would need to have a winning wager placed with the bet credit in order to withdraw those winnings.

While the $100 in bet credits is a fair promotion, especially if you want to just make a small deposit and check out the sportsbook, it does pale in comparison to the many other options in the American betting market.

Bet365 Sportsbook Promotions

In the European betting market, Bet365 is widely known for its seasonal promotions and they have brought a few of these promotions over to the United States.

Bet365 offers early payouts to NFL, NBA, and NHL moneyline bettors if any of the teams they bet on to win via the moneyline build up a big lead.  In the NFL, the threshold is 17-points, in the NBA it is 20-points, and in the NHL it is a three-goal lead.

Bet365 also offers a multi-sport parlay bonus, essentially incentivizing its users to place multi-sport parlays by including a small bonus to the payout when they hit.  The bonuses increase the payout from 5% for a two-team parlay all the way up to 50% for a 12-team parlay.

Bet365 sportsbook also offers the same type of bonus system for European Soccer Parlays, with the same idea of a cross-sport parlay, only with the many different leagues from across European football.  They also do the same type of thing for tennis parlays, only of course ranging across the different tours and tournaments.

Bet365 Sportsbook Bonus Code

There are no bonus codes required to qualify for the bonus.  Simply head to Bet365, register, and make a deposit and you will receive up to $100 in bet credits.

Bet365 Sportsbook App

If you’ve been a success for two decades, it’s a pretty safe assumption that you have a pretty good product.

This is precisely the case for Bet365, as they provide their users with one of the better apps in the online sportsbook industry.  The app is available on both iOS and Android devices and has a sterling reputation for its speed and performance.

The Bet365 app has a very sleek layout that is very easy to navigate and is easy on the eyes no matter what time of day you are using it.  Live-betting is a breeze inside of the app, with play-by-play offered on each game keeping you apprised of when is the perfect time to strike and place a wager.

The bet slip and cashier functions are both very quick and responsive and easy to use.  If you have any familiarity with online sports betting prior to using the Bet365 app, you will be able to quickly understand how to navigate about the Bet365 app.  There is a very small learning curve for first-time bettors, and virtually no learning curve for experienced bettors.

All in all, the app very much lives up to the hype and is one of the bigger positives to Bet365.

Bet365 Desktop Site

Essentially the desktop site will be very similar to the mobile app, only at an enlarged resolution.

Users will find all the different sports to bet on the left-hand side of the screen with live-betting prominently displayed in the center of the browser. On the right-hand side of the screen, Bet365 will showcase the prominent matches of the day, with their promotions tucked off to the far-right portion of the browser.

Should you wish to play casino games, which is legal in New Jersey, the link to the Bet365 casino is at the top of the browser, nestled in with additional links to access their live-betting and running promotions.

As is the case with the mobile app, it’s very easy to navigate and find what you’re looking for.  Aesthetically speaking, the desktop site is a little plain by comparison to the app, perhaps because of it just being enlarged, but it gets the job done.

How to Sign-Up at Bet365 Sportsbook

Signing up at Bet365 is a very simple and straightforward process.  New users will need to provide the following:

  • Date of Birth
  • Social Security Number

After this takes place, you will be asked to create a username and password, along with a four-digit security number, then you will be all set to go.

Anyone 21 years of age or older who resides in a state that Bet365 operates.

Where Does Bet365 Sportsbook Operate?

As of September 2020, Bet365 Sportsbook only operates out of the state of New Jersey.  There are plans in place to have online sports betting offered in the state of New York when that becomes officially legalized.  However, there does not seem to be much progress on New York offering legalized online sports betting before the end of 2020.

Bet365 will soon be expanding into Colorado sometime in 2020, and are in the process of getting licenses in Indiana and West Virginia.

Bet365 Sportsbook Payout Methods

Bet365 differs from the competition in that they offer payouts back onto a credit card in addition to the typical means in which withdrawals occur.  Withdrawal methods include:

  • eCheck (ACH)
  • Credit/Debit Card (Visa/Mastercard)
  • PayPal
  • Bet365 MasterCard
  • Skrill
  • Cash at Cage (Hard Rock Hotel Casino NJ)

It should be noted that if you are to deposit funds via PayPal or Skrill that you will only be able to withdraw funds back via that same method.

Bet365 Sportsbook Betting Options

Bet365 offers the standard robust offering of sports to bet on, including the following:

  • American Football (NFL, NCAA, CFL, XFL)
  • Basketball (NBA, College, WNBA, Women’s College, EuroLeague)

  • Hockey (NHL, College, International)
  • Soccer (MLS, Club, International, World Cup)
  • Tennis (all tours)
  • Boxing/MMA
  • Golf (all tours)

Bet365 Rewards Program

As of September 2020, there is not a rewards program in place for the American version of the Bet365 sportsbook.  Bet365, however, does offer a VIP program to its global customers, particularly in the United Kingdom, so there is hope that such a program could be in the works for Bet365 players as the company expands into more states across the United States.

Bet365 Sportsbook Rating

If Bet365 Sportsbook were an athlete, they would be the dependable bench guy.  The glue you need.  Bet365 is a nice option for those in the state of New Jersey and would make for a very reliable secondary sportsbook you can go to if they offer better odds than your primary sportsbook.  They do however lag behind the competition, especially in New Jersey where it’s a very crowded market.

Their introductory bonus is simply not as good as their counterparts, and while the app is extraordinary, they really don’t offer a whole lot to really stand out in the same manner they have in the European sports betting market.  We are hopeful that the more they expand, the more they begin to roll out the bells and whistles that they are known for, but as of now, they are just a solid option for New Jersey bettors looking for some action.

The Hook Rates Bet365 Sportsbook:
7.5/10 – Fair
