Unibet Sportsbook Review

Unibet Sportsbook is one of the newest entrants into the legal online sports betting industry here in the United States, but they have an established name in this industry due to their many years of success in the European gambling market.

Prior to entering the market in the United States, Unibet was available in over 100 countries around the globe.

It’s this experience in the industry that makes them a sportsbook worthy of your business.

Unibet launched their initial sportsbook in the United States in New Jersey, where it debuted September 10, 2019.  Since that point, Unibet has expanded its sports betting services into the states of Pennsylvania and Indiana, with plans to also open sportsbooks in Colorado and Michigan soon.

Unibet Sportsbook Bonus & Promos

New players at Unibet who are still on the fence about betting on sports are offered two free bets of $10 without the need to make a deposit.  If that offer isn’t enough to entice you, Unibet also offers a $250 risk-free wager after your first deposit.

Essentially, once you make your first deposit into your account, you will become eligible for the $250 risk-free wager, meaning that your first bet up to $250 would be refunded to you if it were a loser.

There is a minimum bet of $10 on the risk-free wager, but if you wanted to take a stab at a decently sized bet this particular bonus could be quite juicy.

Unibet Sportsbook Bonus Code

Unibet does not require new members to enter a bonus code in order to take part in the new player bonuses.

Simply sign up at Unibet, use your two free wagers of $10, make a deposit and enjoy the risk-free bet of up to $250.

Unibet Weekly Parlay Boost

For the parlay bettors of the sports betting world out there, Unibet’s Weekly Parlay Boost is sure to be a hit.

The Unibet Weekly Parlay Boost provides bettors with a bonus on any parlay bet.  Depending on the number of legs in the parlay, Unibet will give bettors an additional bonus on your profits if the parlay hits.

The Parlay Boosts are as Follows:

  • Three-Leg Parlay (10%)
  • Four-Leg Parlay (20%)
  • Five-Leg Parlay (30%)

To qualify, each leg of your parlay must have odds of at least (-500) or better (i.e. -400, -300, etc.) and the parlay must win.

Now, so Unibet doesn’t get crushed by the parlay savants of the world, you are maxed out at $25 per wager with this offer, and you can only win one boost per week.  So if you nail that 5-team, $25 parlay on Monday, you’ll have to wait until the following week to try and get that 30% bonus again.

Either way, we think this is a great offer for those who like to bet parlays.

Unibet 100K Pigskin Parlay

As you can imagine, football season is the busiest time of year for an online sportsbook and Unibet is no different.  Because of the popularity of NFL betting, Unibet showcases a promotion during football season called the 100K Pigskin Parlay.

What is the 100K Pigskin Parlay exactly?  Well, first things first, a bettor would need to place a $10 6-team parlay on NFL spread bets for games occurring that week.

Should all six teams cover their point spread, then you win the usual payout for a 6-team parlay.

But if all six teams in your parlay happen to play really well and cover their point spread by an additional 9.5 points each, then you will win a cool $100,000.

Should more than one Unibet customer also win in the same week, then you would split the pot with however many entrants happened to win that week.

Unibet customers may only enter three of these parlays each week.

Unibet Sportsbook App

The Unibet Sportsbook mobile app is available on both iOS and Android, however, the availability of the app is dependent on the state in which you are a customer with them.

In New Jersey and Indiana, the mobile app is available for both Apple and Android users, however, in Pennsylvania, the mobile app is currently only offered on Android.

Unibet anticipates launching their mobile app for iOS users in Pennsylvania very soon, but as of now, they would need to access the online sportsbook through their web browser with the GeoGuard Location Validator installed to allow Unibet to verify you are indeed gambling in Pennsylvania.

Beyond the mixed availability of the app, the Unibet Sportsbook app is quite standard and easy to navigate.

One of Unibet’s staples in the European market was their in-play wagering options, and that has made its way over to the American betting markets as well.  In-play wagering works best through the sportsbook’s mobile app and runs in the same manner as it would if you were making the same play from the UK.

If you wish to do all your wagering within this mobile app, you can.  Within the Unibet Sportsbook App, you are able to register for a new account, make a new deposit, reload your account, or withdraw your funds.

Just remember to enable location services on your phone to allow for the sportsbook to geotag your location.  If it cannot verify that you are in a state where it is legal to bet through Unibet, you will not be allowed to make any wagers.

How to Sign-Up at Unibet Sportsbook

Unibet has made first-time registration a very seamless process.

To create an account at Unibet, you will need to provide the following information:

  • Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Address
  • Email
  • Phone Number
  • Social Security Number

Additionally, you will create a username and password for which you will then access the online sportsbook.  Unibet will also require that you provide answers to security questions for extra security on your account.

After this is done, simply confirm your age and agree to the terms and conditions of being a customer at Unibet.  Believe it or not, a photo ID is not required by Unibet to complete their sign-up process.

Who is Eligible to Register at Unibet Sportsbook?

The eligibility is universal across the board in all the states in which Unibet Sportsbook operates, or intends to operate in soon.

New members must be at least 21 years of age and physically located in the state where they are a member at.  In order words, if you are signed up to bet in New Jersey but travel into the city to watch the games at a bar, you will need to make any desired wagers before crossing the state line into New York.

If you’re a Unibet customer in New Jersey and you’re heading into Pennsylvania where Unibet also operates, you will still need to sign up for an account in the state you do not permanently reside in.  But on the bright side, that means you’d potentially get the same new-user bonus as you did when you signed up to begin with!

The only other exclusions as far as membership at Unibet goes comes from the common sense category.  Players, coaches, trainers, refs, and anyone otherwise associated with sports is prohibited from playing for very obvious reasons.

Unibet Sportsbook Deposit Options

Bettors are able to deposit funds at Unibet Sportsbook through several different options, many of which you will find standard with most online sportsbooks in the United States.

Unibet deposit options include:

  • ACH (better known as an e-check)
  • Credit/Debit Cards (Mastercard or Visa)
  • Online Bank Transfer
  • PayPal
  • PayNearMe
  • Unibet Prepaid Play+ card
  • Cash at Casino Cage (Where applicable)

Unibet has a $10 minimum on all deposits.  The most common means of deposit for users is that of a credit/debit card or direct wire transfer from your bank account, all of which are extremely secure to do.

However, many users also prefer the convenience and additional security offered by PayPal.

If you’re in the old school and still want to deal with just cash, there are ways to do that at Unibet, the easiest being a cash deposit at a casino cage.  There are also various PayNearMe locations found in each state Unibet operates, and this is another means where a cash player would be able to make a deposit.

Unibet Sportsbook Payout Methods

While the deposit options are lush, the payout methods are a little more straight forward.

  • PayPal depositors who wish to withdraw funds would receive their funds via PayPal.
  • Credit card or bank transfer depositors would be able to request that their funds be directly deposited back into their bank account, or they could even receive a cash payment if they were in a casino in which Unibet Sportsbook operates.
  • Depositors who used another means of payment to fund their account, like an e-check or cashier’s check, would need to arrange for an e-check to be deposited into their account from Unibet, or for the sportsbook to issue a paper check and mail it out.  Obviously these methods would result in you getting your withdrawal much later than if you used a credit card or PayPal to make your deposit.

Unibet Sportsbook Betting Options

Unibet Sportsbook offers a plethora of different betting options, sure to keep any bettor of any experience level entertained.

Among the many different betting options are:

  • Live Betting
  • Futures Betting
  • Moneylines
  • Spread Betting
  • Totals
  • Parlays
  • Teasers
  • Round-Robin Betting
  • Prop Betting

Unibet Sportsbook offers bettors the opportunity to wager on any of the four major American sports (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL) along with men’s and women’s college sports, Major League Soccer, WNBA, European Soccer, MMA and more.

Unibet Rewards Program

As of this writing, Unibet does not currently offer a rewards program for its customers.

Many other online sportsbooks have already rolled out a variation of a reward system with their retail partners, so many in the industry expect Unibet to follow suit before too long, but as far as their online sportsbook goes there is, unfortunately, no rewards program just yet.

Unibet Sportsbook Rating

We’re excited to monitor the growth of Unibet as they continue to enter the American sports betting markets.  They were a European powerhouse for a reason.  As far as betting options go, with their seamless and wide-ranging live betting options, Unibet is definitely a potential player for some time to come.
